「加埋你」一齊支持人道工作

(香港‧2014年11月23日)  今年冬天,香港紅十字會「愛心相連大行動」一於「加埋你」,期望將無數「你」的愛心,以不同形式加在一起,以支持本會各項人道工作,幫助更多在本港及全球各地有需要的人士。

第十二屆「愛心相連大行動」,於今日正式啟動,為期三個月。你可以透過捐款、購買可愛實用的義賣品「迪迪熊雨傘」及「迪迪熊暖手包」、或者透過本會將義賣品愛心轉贈予本地、內地及世界各地的弱勢社群。

今年更特別增設一系列「加埋你」活動,你的舉手之勞-不論是在耀目的「加埋你」流動專綫上按鈕、或者在Facebook回應活動訊息,都會令本會增添捐款。每多一名參與者或留言者,「加埋你」活動贊助商都會捐出$10予本會。

「加埋你」共建關懷社群
在啟動儀式上,香港紅十字會總監袁漢榮表示:「『愛心相連大行動』十多年來,成功凝聚社會各界的愛心,為本會推行人道服務加添不少力量。今年活動以『加埋你』作為號召,就是期望更多的『你』,能以不同形式加入支持我們的行列,繼續以『愛心』『相連』,服務更多有需要的人。我們的人道工作不能沒有每一個『你』的支持。」

「2014年十大傑出青年」兼著名藝人方力申先生今年再度擔任「愛心相連大行動」活動榮譽大使。他表示,多年來能夠出一分力參與活動,感到很有意義。「今年更加可以帶頭『加埋你』,一齊邀請市民輕輕鬆鬆為人道出點愛心,真的感到十分榮幸。」啟動禮後,他立即與一眾嘉賓帶頭去「加埋你」流動專綫,在展覽車上親身參與按鈕和推廣。

耀目的流動展覽車將停泊鬧市,只要你按動車上鈕掣以示支持,「加埋你」活動贊助商 ECCO便會每多一名參與者捐出$10予本會;你更可透過流動專綫,多認識本會的人道工作,以及各地的人道需要。

Pass-it-On Charity Sale Campaign

(Hong Kong, 23 November 2014) The Hong Kong Red Cross (HKRC) annual fundraising campaign “Pass-it-On” aims to “plus” more members of the public to support our humanitarian tasks through different ways, so as to help more in need locally and overseas.

The three-month Campaign, entering its 12th year, was officially launched today (23 November). You can purchase the iconic items -“Reddie Bear Umbrella” and “Reddie Bear Hand Warmer”- to deliver warmth and care to others in the cold winter. You may also buy and re-gift the items via the HKRC network to the underprivileged population in Hong Kong, Mainland China and overseas, as a gift of love and care.

Under the new slogan of “Plus You”, this year’s Campaign also has a series of activities to “plus” every one of you. You can simply board our “Plus You” Moving Truck to show your support by pressing a button, or share our “Plus You” message on Pass-it-On Facebook page. The activity sponsor will make a donation of HK$10 for each button-pressing or message shared.

“Plus You” in sharing Love and Care

Addressing the kick-off ceremony, HKRC Director Mr Jimmy Yuen said the Pass-it-On Campaign has been able to disseminate the spirit of “share and care” in the community over the past years. “Under the slogan of ‘Plus You’ this year, we hope to add more members of the public to support the Red Cross works in different ways. Without the support of each of you, we could not have been conducting so many humanitarian works for the needy.”

Mr Alex Fong, renowned artist and awardee of the 2014 Ten Outstanding Young Persons, continues to act as the Campaign’s Chief Ambassador. “I feel honoured for having joined such meaningful event for years. This year, I also feel excited for being able to lead in the   ‘Plus You’ activities to invite more of you to join the humanitarian force.” Immediately after the kick-off ceremony, Alex and other guests headed for the “Plus You” Moving Truck to join in the button-pressing and promotion.

“Plus You” Activity

1) “Plus You” Moving Truck

The Moving Truck will station in popular spots in town. You can simply board the truck to press a button for showing your support. The activity sponsor ECCO will donate HK$10 to HKRC for each pressing.

The displays on board will also enable you to learn more about the humanitarian needs over the world, as well as the HKRC humanitarian works.

Aiming to raise funds in support of the humanitarian work of the Hong Kong Red Cross and to promote the “Share and Care” spirit amongst people, the HKRC has been organizing the Pass-it-On Campaign since 2003. The charity campaign has become one of HKRC’s key annual fundraising events. It encourages people to care not only for their families and friends, but also for those close and afar who are less fortunate and in need. It emphasises the power of joining hands, that when we all put ourselves together, an enormous loving power can be accumulated to help those who are in need. It is a fundraising campaign that relies on this “pass-it-on effect” amongst people to spread the “share and care” spirit.
